Social Media
Let’s get the conversation started! Who’s attending? What’s the latest and greatest in Immunology research? How can we collaborate?
During ASI’s 2017 annual scientific meeting, many presenters will communicate novel research results that are not yet published. Whilst we encourage engagement on social media from attendees we realise that sharing unpublished results without the speaker’s consent may compromise the ability to publish in scientific journals in the future and/or progress of the research.

We therefore ask attendees to:

  • Refrain from recording and/or reproducing audio, video or photos from oral and poster presentations unless explicit permission is granted from the presenter
  • Communicate across social media platforms in a respectful manner

We encourage attendees to interact on social media by:

  • Following @ASImmunology and tweeting about the 2017 annual meeting using the hashtag #ASI2017QLD
  • ‘Liking’ and interacting with ASI on Facebook

Do

  • Keep phones on silent during sessions!
  • Engage using #ASI2017QLD and follow ASI on Twitter @ASImmunology and the ASI Facebook page
  • Seek out one of our friendly Social Media Ambassadors to get featured on social media
  • Enjoy making new connections at the meeting and communicate in a respectful manner

Don’t

  • Take photos/videos of presentations without permission
