Oral and Poster Presentations

THE SPEAKER PREPARATION ROOM
Presentations are to be loaded direct to the PC in the speaker preparation room (Concord Speaker Preparation Room) on the Concord Level (below the Plaza Level) at least a full session in advance of your session. If you are presenting in the Monday Workshops you will need to upload your presentation directly into the PC in the room you are presenting in. Workshop chairs and AV staff will be on hand to assist you with this process. You should bring your talk on a USB, saved in a format for display on a PC within the room. If you have a prefer to use your Macintosh, you will need to bring your own display adaptors and still check in with the speaker prep team so they can notify the technicians. Once the team are aware they can arrange a test to ensure your presentation works with the AV system in the room. A technician will be on hand to assist with any transfer / loading issues and to help you check your presentation. The ratio of your PowerPoint presentation is to be 16:9.

POSTER VIEWING
Delegates with posters can find the correct position for their poster by locating the appropriate abstract number on the display panels. The panels are set up in the Plaza Auditorium Foyer in the corridor leading to meeting room P6, P7, P8 & P9 on the conference floor. Use the program reference to identify your abstract number and poster position. During formal poster discussions (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday afternoon), the presenters should attend their poster to answer questions and meet colleagues with similar research interests.
Posters can remain on display from the morning of your presentation date and must be taken down at the end of the poster viewing session on the same day.
There are three poster sessions at this year’s meeting:

  • Poster Session One: 4:00pm – 5:30pm, Tuesday 28 November 2017
  • Poster Session Two: 4:00pm – 5:30pm, Wednesday 29 November 2017
  • Poster session Three: 4:00pm – 5:30pm, Thursday 30 November 2017
